BMW plant by Zaha Hadid
BMW Welt by Coop Himmelblau

Porsche Museum by Geben Einblick

Mercedes-Benz Museum by Ben Van Berkel
I appreciate this type of architecture, they definitely embody the spirit and mood of the automobile. The spaces of each building are unique and kept me entertained and mesmerized for the whole time I was inside. There are tons of detail and the contemplation of their construction is mind boggling. However, I feel that the exterior, the city block that it takes up, should afford for a more public friendly environment. I feel that it comes off as being negligent, to the environment and the people, when a space strips away social interaction and communication. Interaction was provided inside the building, but the exterior neglected to replace what it took from the land and its people.
